    FAQ

    How does it work?

    Answer :
The Mesh Nebulizer produces a fine mist by vibrating the mesh (the metal circle on the front of the medicine cup). Because it doesn't use a heating source to produce the fine mist it is safe to use and the mist is room temperature. To use the nebulizer you can simply fill the medicine cup with either liquid medication like albuterol or if you do not have a lung condition and would like to use the device to clear you airways from a common cold you can simply use a saline solution or water only. The medicine cup should be filled upto the mark on the side of the cup (8ml/1.6tsp). If not filled fully the nebulizer might trigger the automatic switch of function. Once filled up all the way simply press the button once and the nebulizer will start. It will shut off automatically once the medicine cup is empty.

Do I need a prescription to buy one?

No you don't need a prescription to buy our nebulizer. You can simply place your order without having a prescription.

Where can I get medication for my nebulizer?

    Answer :
If you have a lung condition like Asthma or COPD you can simply use your own medication in liquid form with our nebulizer. Most liquid medications like Albuterol and Budesonide can be used with our nebulizer. If you are currently using a different kind of medication it would be best to ask your local docter if he is able to prescribe you with the right form of liquid medication.
If you do not have a lung condition you can simply get a simple saline solution at your local pharmacy, make a saline solution yourself or you can use the unit with water only. ( using the unit with water and a drop of eucalyptus is also a great option to clear your airways)

Does my medical insurance cover the cost?

    Answer :
Some medical insurances will cover nebulizers under their policy if you have a lung condition. If you can get the costs covered highly depends on your specific situation and medical insurance. To make sure your insurance covers the costs we would recommend to reach out to your insurance directly.

I don't have a lung condition can I still use the nebulizer?

    Answer :
Yes, even if you don't have Ashtma or COPD our nebulizer also works great to open up your airways from a common cold by using it with water only, a saline solution or eucalyptus. Our nebulizer truly is for everyone.

Is this product suitable for children as well?

    Answer :
Yes, our mesh nebulizer is suitable for both adults and children. We made sure to make it safe and easy to use. It also comes with 2 different face masks. One for adults and one for children. The mouth piece can be used both by children and adults.

Do I need to charge it?

    Answer :
The nebulizer works on either 2 standard AA batteries or you can use the unit while plugged in to an external power source (Power outlet or powerbank using a usb adapter) with the provided USB cable. The unit can not be recharged as it does not have an internal battery for safety reasons. When you are on the go it is best to use the nebulizer with batteries or a power bank. Using rechargable batteries is also an option however we would like to advice to not charge the batteries while they are inside the unit as this can wear down the mesh on the nebulizer.

How do I clean my nebulizer?

    Answer :
To clean the nebulizer you can simply detach the medicine cup while pressing the button on the back and sliding the medicine cup towards you. Once the medicine cup is detached you can simply clean the cup with water ( to avoid the medicine cup from getting cloged we would recomend using distilled water to clean the unit). When cleaning the medicine cup it is best to use a cotton swab to clean the mesh in the front and gently move in circles without pressing on the mesh. We recommend to only use water and never use soap as this could leave soap residue in the unit. This is also the reason why we would recommend to not put the medicine cup in the dishwasher as other debris in the dishwasher could damage the unit. Also we would like to stress that it is not needed to clean the nebulizer as a whole. Only the medicine cup needs to be cleaned and should be cleaned every couple of days by simply rinsing the medicine cup with water.

    My nebulizer doesn't stay on?

    Answer :
If your nebulizer shuts of immediately after pressing the button or if it doesn't turn on at all there are only 2 reasons that this is happening and luckily they are easily fixed! If your nebulizer shuts of immediately after pressing the button and doesn't stay on than this is actually because the automatic switch of function is triggered. This could be because either the medicine cup is not filled all the way to the mark or because the sensor might be dry after not using the unit for a while or when first using it. To fix this issue simply fill the medicine cup all the way and tilt it slightly forward with the front of the medicine cup facing down. Then simply press the button repeatadly untill the unit starts working. This only happens on the first use and shouldn't be a problem after that. If your unit doesn't turn on at all and it displays a red light this can be because either the batteries you have put inside are empty or they are not the right voltage. Also please make sure to put in the baterries the correct way. When using a power outlet or powerbank this should not be an issue. If you are still experiencing problems please reach out to us and we will be happy to help.
